Use the following to access the now playng list on your TiVo S2.

1. Type in the web address of your TiVo;
2. When prompted, type in userid="tivo" and password=<media access key>

I currently have two TiVo's:

• A Philips HDR-312 that I bought in Sept. 2000 and have modified to contain 200GB of drive space rather than the stock 30GB - the "Hinsdale" guide and the bracket from 9thtee were instrumental in this upgrade. The hard drives finally crashed in June 2011 but I bought a new drive from DVR Upgrade and now it's running with a whopping 750GB of space (260+hours on best quality). Pretty much retired it, though, by the end of 2011 since Optimum stopped broadcasting on analog channels - so I have to put the TiVo after the cable box and can only use one of them. It also only can get data via phone (no wireless).
• A Toshiba SD-H400 combination DVD-player which I originally bought in May 2004 to replace a DVD player which went south on me. I got it because it contained TiVo Basic, but I later upgraded to the full Tivo service when they introduced multi-unit discounts. In Sept 2006 I upgraded it to a 400Gb drive. It too suffered a hard drive crash but in 2011 resurrected it with a new drive as well. That drive finally failed in Jan. 2016.

With the crash of the hard drive in the SD-H400, I'm retiring the TiVos. Between Optimum on demand and the Roku I got in 2015, I pretty much have everything covered. Current seaons of almost all the series I watch regularly on cable are available on demand for "long enough", and past seasons have been showing up on Netflix/Hulu/Amazon regularly. 15+ years of usefulness, though. Not bad.
